Assistance Needed With Food And Heart Medication. My Doctor told me that I won't survive much longer without proper nourishment and medication. Please Help Me.

By bit1953 - on Nov 22, 2011... modified on Jan 24, 2012

Hello friends.  I am here desperately seeking encouragement, advice, and any available resources to help provide me with the basic needs that I can no longer afford on my own.  It is incredibly difficult for me to ask for help, since I’ve been a devoted worker all of my life and have always paid my own way.  That all changed when I became stricken with various health problems.  My body is now broken, but I’m still the same hard-working individual from within.  I’ve endured 7 heart attacks, 2 strokes, 3-way by-pass surgeries, 3 stents, and I also have a pacemaker.  As a result, I’m being buried alive with medicals bills and trying to survive on only $3.00 a day.  I can’t afford food, therefore don’t eat like I should, and I cannot afford to purchase of all of the heart medications I need to survive, not to mention any other modest needs required for everyday living.  I haven't taken my heart medication for several months because I can't afford to have the prescription filled, and I've been eating only oatmeal and rice for the past year since that's all I can afford.  I saw my Doctor recently and did not receive a good report.  He told me if I don't get back on my medication and start eating better, that my heart is going to give out on me and I won't survive another attack.

I have not been able to find the financial help I need, which is why I am here making this humble plea.  If anyone is able and would like to make a small donation to help me pay for food and medication, please go through the PayPal website at https://www.paypal.com/.  You will need to sign up for a PayPal account if you don’t already have one in order to transfer funds.  If you’re not familiar with PayPal, it’s a safe and easy way to transfer funds without revealing your bank account information, which reassures that your privacy and confidential information are protected.  Any amount is greatly appreciated…..even a penny.  You will need to enter my email address - jdalton3@windstream.net when transferring funds through PayPal.

I promise that I am not a scammer and will provide anyone who asks…. proof of my illness, such as the names of my Doctors, locations and dates of my surgeries, hospital stays, as well as information on the bank account I’ve held for the past 30 years as additional proof that my funds have been depleted.  Whatever you are able to give will be appreciated and I sincerely thank you for taking your valuable time to read my story.

If you would like to contact me regarding my financial or health situation prior to making a donation, please feel free to do so.  My contact information is provided below.

God Bless You All,

Please help me move my son closer to family and friends who can offer emotional and moral support

By Leese - on Jan 24, 2012... modified on Jan 24, 2012
Posted in How are you today?

When the going gets tough, the tough get going?? Sometimes we need help beyond what we are able to do ourselves. I have found myself at this cross roads in life.

My son and I need to relocate to Michigan as soon as possible but need financial help to do so. My resources are limited so I really need help to make this happen for him. I am actively saving, saving, saving but on a fixed income that makes it a long process but I'm sticking to the "plan".

My ex husband is currently in the hospital with a large tumor *3 tumors in left lung and cancer throughout his body* He also has a pulmonary embolism which is compressed by one of the tumors and the embolism could rupture at any time. He has lung cancer and is terminal in the final stage and only expected to live for one month or less. The doctor wants him to go into the hospitals hospice for care in his final days due to the seriousness of his situation. He is going to die at anytime, it is just a matter of time and heartbreak for my child. I can provide information if necessary to confirm the situation.

Where we live we have no family or emotional support. My twelve year old son wants to go back to Michigan where we do have the emotional support we need and the love family and friends can provide for him. I am here for him 24/7 but it is still very difficult just being the two of us.

It would be such a blessing if maybe someone could help financially so that we can move and make this happen! Any little bit would be a blessing and appreciated beyond belief. I am currently collecting money orders and putting them away to save the money up that is needed to move. The UHaul is $989. for a 10 foot truck, $129.00 for the truck insurance plan and gas, food and hotels while traveling. I am only taking what we absolutley must have which does not include large furniture only the things we cannot part with. Well enough of my moving woes and rambling. Just hoping for help I guess is the entire point. :)

I am saving all the money I can but it just isn't enough to move from the Seattle area to the upper peninsula of Michigan. Please understand our situation and prayers would also be appreciated.

Never in a million years should anyone's child go through what my son is enduring and all I want is for him to be happy and emotionally stable with support of loved ones.

From my heart to yours, Thank you for any help offered.broken heart

Fast Food Gift Cards Would Be A Blessing Too

By Leese - on Jan 24, 2012
Posted in Leese

Fast food restaurant gift cards welcomed! Just thought about this portion of our move. It would be great if we could get a hot, quick meal while traveling to Michigan.

I'm not meaning to be pushy or to appear greedy but I have thought a bit more about our needs while relocating and food beyond the cooler came to mind.

in response to bookworm2011...   My family doesn't like it when there are no snacks either, but I have weaned them off of them almost entirely now, because, the truth is, it won't hurt them to not eat sweets. In fact, sugar is the major cause of most sickness, since it is poison, and kicks the heck out of our immune systems! I'm so glad the green tea and stevia help you! It IS hard to remember to drink all that water, since you are a busy lady! Hang in there and it WILL come off!

in response to Bee's Knees...   No Worries! That happens to me every once in a while too..I got a little bummed because the past two days I saw an increase of 6 ounces but then realized that I had stopped drinking all the water..I made myself drink the required glasses today and we will see what the scale says tmw..Ive found drinking some green tea with the sweetner completely takes care of any cravings when I cook for my family. I tried to eliminate boxed and packaged sweets so I must endure the baking treats for them since Im the one who got myself into this by telling them they need to eat healthier, homemade snacks! Thank you again for the support! I hope that things are well with you and your family..

Catholic Mama of seven, needs to upgrade my vehicle to fit the children. Willing to donate my solid-running, paid for 1999 Ford Expedition towards a Passenger Van or Nissan NV. Bad Credit. Only income is not secure/odd construction jobs for a damily of 9. Poverty level and in remote location. We desperately need only this assistance in charity. Homesteading, almost off the grid, harvest out own food on our property, receives food stamps and medi-cal but nothing else, per our choice. Hard working family. 80 miles from church and services, including hospital.

Any suggestions of charities sincerely appreciated.

There are a lot of people here who need help so I'm not terribly hopeful, but here goes. I am mentally ill. I have type II bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder which partially manifests as hoarding disorder. I have hoarded objects, not animals. I have 5 cats, which some may think is "a lot of cats" but it does not qualify as animal hoarding. I am working on the hoarding problem but it is an uphill battle. Sometimes I do better than others.
In spite of my mental illness, I do work. I make well above minimum wage, as I make $17 an hour. I work 32 hours a week. This is about all I can do without it making me extremely depressed or physically sick. I also have fibromyalgia and sciatica as well as asthma and mild hypertension.
I fall into a marginalized category. Because I make the salary I do, I do not qualify for food stamps. However, once taxes and insurance are taken out of my pay, I only take home about $1400 a month. I am in an upside down mortgage in a mobile home and my credit is damaged. Thus refinancing seems to be out of the question--no-one will touch me. Between mortgage and lot rent, I pay $1100 a month.
My mother has helped me out for several years with utility bills. I do not eat much except at work. I get things like cheese whiz and crackers and canned fruit juice or jello that does not need refrigeration when I am at home as I do not have a working refrigerator.
Last year my mobile home incurred very bad damage when the water heater started leaking and I didn't know it until my son realized that the carpet in the hall was wet. The walls and floors of 3 rooms had to be removed. Overall the repairs cost over $20,000. My mother helped out with this. But she is stuck with my late father's medical bills and really can't help any more. I am ashamed to ask her for help anyway.
I do not have working plumbing except in the bathroom sink. Fortunately I am able to shower and wash my clothes at work. I do not have much in the way of furniture but I'm not so worried about that.
I still owe $43,000 on this horrible 15% mortgage, which I have had for 10 years. The original mortgage was $45,000. You can see that I am mostly paying interest. I am in a no-win situation.
I just got through paying off a bunch of payday loans that I had to take out when I was doing a month unpaid internship to obtain my LPN license last April. I also maxed out my credit cards. I still owe about $1200 in credit card bills. This destroyed my credit, which I had worked very hard to build back up to a passable score.
I have medical issues which I have not been able to afford to take care of and I have not been to a dentist in 6 years.
I feel very depressed most of the time and think about suicide every day. I am not a lazy person but I have had a lot of barriers to my success in my life.
It seems that if I had nothing at all there would be some resources from me. But since I am working and have this mobile home I fall into the Twilight Zone where no-one can or will help me.
Thanks for reading.

in response to bookworm2011...   Hi, Char. Sorry for the delay in answering. Ever notice how Aip sometimes tells you there are messages, then, after you open and read one, it tells you there are no more? I just ran across this message from you that I never even read before, so I'm assuming that is what happened.
I know. It is sooooo hard to cook or bake for others when you are not allowed to have any! But, when you are in the zone, you are in the zone!
Keep going! You CAN get down to the pre-baby weight again! I did.

Project summary/abstract.

The need of Indian herbals (medicinal plants) having highest value in worldwide and in the medical field which are supportive for research and cure of several unknown diseases. But they are not easily available and can be found in forests and mountains, farmers and agriculturists arte not cultivating them in their lands. To disseminate and demonstrate the method of cultivation of these medicinal plants which can also provide additional income to agricultural women laborers ,small farmers and dry landholders and will lead to formation of medicinal plants’(Herbal Garden), this project is suggested for environmental bidoological diversioty and protection with the participation and involvement of agricultural women labourers, small farmers and dryland holders. Major, unintended changes are occurring in the atmosphere, in soils, waters, plants and animals due to major usage of chemical fertilizers and pesticides for cultivation and irrigation in lands. Hence organic farming and sustainable agriculture should be established in the project area. It is most essential to grow more trees and plants in the project area with highest possible percentage so that human, animal, birds and reptiles could live supportively each other. Totally agro –forestry system should be established in the project area which could pave way for good food production and provide better living condition to the people. More over equilibrium and ecological balance of the earth could be maintained. Hence, I request your goodself to support us by contribution or donation or project for this project

Objectives of the Project

i) To support and protect the eco-potentiality and mobility in the niche and earth

ii) To initiate and guide local organizations (Women SHGs and small farmers’ Associations) Pertaining to natural resource management

iii) To protect natural sustainability in earth and lift the environmental conditions and make the living places as clean and green.

iv) To train, teach, guide, integrate and support to create forests and agro –forestry and encourage rural women and small farmers into afforestation activities and sustainable agriculture by organic farming.

v) To change the dry lands and barren lands into fertile and wet lands.

vi) To provide employment opportunity for agri-labour women during unseasons and monsoon failures.

vii) To initiate and encourage rural public women, farmers and local authorities into plants growing and tree plantation activities by collective and participatory action.

viii) To lift up the rural economy by increasing percentage of forest produces, and food production. 1

ix) To establish model farms, research and study centres in organic farming and environmental protection.

x) To formulate and organize Tree Growers Associations and Co-operatives and Marketing centres for forest and agricultural produces

xi) To implement projects on nature conservation to other NGOs and Government as model and example.

Key Activities

i) Planning and soil Testing and water arrangements

ii) Conducting seeds campaign, starting seeds development and bank

iii) Plants Mother bed/land preparation for starting Nursery Raising Units

iv) Training on Preparation of Organic Manure and Natural pesticides and demonstrating to the beneficiaries

v) Mixing and pocketing in poly bags, manuring and safeguarding

vi) Fencing and watering the seedlings

vii) Arrange for Tree Plantation Programmes through Tree Growers’ Association t o be formulated through this project

RELEVANCE OF THE PROJECT

i) Protection of natural resources can be achieved form the irrational pressures of development in villages. ii) environmentally sound planning can be built around concepts of equitable and sustainable development. With environmental consciousness growing, the growth equity and sustainability of natural resources can be achieved. iii)Once ‘eco vision’ is clear among rural masses, plans can be formulated for the public works programmers .iv)Once a decentralized eco-development plan is available for a particular ecological region, massive employment can be created through activities aimed at the restoration of the ecological infrastructure and ecological regeneration can be attributed. v) For enrichment of a village ecosystem, we can plan for the entire private and common lands in fuel, food, fodder, and other basic biomass ds can be met on a priority basis. vi)Planning of ecological security, basic survival needs and income generation by reversing lands. vii) Multipurpose trees are brows able and like the fields of wheat and rice can be protected. viii) Multipurpose trees can be planted which can hold the soil and water and yield fuel, fodder and food and secure natural and social entities. ix) When multipurpose indigenous trees are grown on common lands, social and political conditions can be created so that people can again develop a special relationship with these trees. x) The remote people can be educated on nature conservation starting with the habit of nursery raising of plants and tree plantation programmer. xi)Hence this project will be an entry and turning point among rural masses to establish substantial and long standing contribution to nature conservations

List the project's specific target population, constituents, and geographic communities: Women SHG members women agri –labourers form each village. Atleast 2 SHGs organized by consisting of 15 members in one SHG Totally 100 self-help group members from 5 villages .20 small farmers association members from each village Totally 100 small farmer’s Association members from 5 villages. These target group people has been selected according to their living condition and below poverty line in economically.

If you need any other clarifications please send an e-mail so as to reply you.

in response to georgette7...   Thanks, Georgette. I do think it helps when people can see it is a real need, and that it goes directly to pay that need, instead of just a random person's account. Scammers have been here and tricked people into giving them lots of money in the past. We've lost many good contributors because of that. When new contributors join, and ask me how to tell which people have real needs, a good rule of thumb is seeing that some needs are real and having proof (like when the bill is paid directly.) so you have a good point.

in response to georgette7...   What I am saying is that money is not often exchanged here in any way (direct gifts, grants, paying of bills, etc...) I understand you are asking for tax help. Everyone seems to be struggling right now, especially this time of year. Many are disabled, homeless, have no food, etc....
We have no idea which contributors happen to be reading the posts and are financially able and willint to help. Sometimes this does happen, but most of the time, we try to swap helpful info, resources for help through different organizations, etc...(usually the people who need help the very most are helped in those cases)
We have no access to any cash other than whatever we each earn via our own jobs.
Many times people have the misconception that we work for a large corporation and are able to distribute funds from a large account.
I hope this information helps.
I wish I could be of more help.
I know how it feels to be hassled for payments due.
God bless you.

I was losing my house when I found this site. I was not sure what it was at first. I have never been given a grant here. I found out the people here help one another as they can. Some have been given cash assistance by other members, but mostly I see people giving one another support and information. Many contributors have taken the time to research different topics and are able to point others in the right direction for help.

Does anyone know of a place to consolidate debts for persons with bad credit. I would even consider peer to peer lending if there are any wealthy individuals willing to help a single, graduate student, with a full time job. I've suffered some financial misfortunes but I'm trying to get back on track. I need about $50,000 and I can comfortably pay be $450 - $550 per month.  in response to JayJay62389...   We have all made mistakes with credit cards, you are not alone. First off, regardless of what the credit card companies collections tells you, they can not just seize your check. This is a threat they use very often even though it is against federal law. The company needs to sue you first. Due to the level of balance on the card this would take place in small claims court. The court proceeding would take no more than 20 minutes and a judgment will be filed against you. However, even with the judgement, they have to wait 30 days to execute on the judgement. During this time you can actually sit down and negotiate a deal to pay towards your debt that fits within your budget.

It is a minimum of 40 days from the date you are served with the lawsuit until they can even think about touching your paycheck. (I've been down this road before so I speak from experience.)

As for the hospital bill, send them $25 a month until you can pay more. As long as you send them something each month, they won't bother you. (Again, I've been down this road as well.)

This is a long shot but im going to give it a try. I wrecked my car in May and totaled it and have been out of work ever since. My son helps me out so much on geting bills and rent paid etc. I need a car really bad. I dont care what it looks like as long as it runs good. If anyoone who sees this and has an extra dollar or even two dollars...even a few cents. just whatever you can spare I have a paypal set up for car donations (Just made it) or rather added a card to it sp i can be used. I promise to pay all forward once I get a job very happily will do so. My paypal name is heownsme105@hotmail.com

Thank you God Bless and Goodnight Aidpagers =)

Can someone just help us a little bit :)

i am new to this website but someone told me about it and said it helped him so I thought I would try. My son and I are in need of a little help. I am a full time student and a single mom. I do have family but times are so hard that they are not able to help me. We are all struggling a lot and it is hard. So i thought I would reach out and try to find help else where. We are in need of help with food and gas to make it to and from school. I receive WIC and food stamps but I am not going to make it to the end of the month. I tried to help my sister and mom with food so I wasn't able to get all that I needed this month. If there is any one that can see to helping me it would be nice and I would appreciate it a lot. That's all for now but I will keep you all updated and aware of what is going on :)

in response to Bee's Knees...   I appreciate your support, I really do..this means so much to me because I really want to get healthier and back to where I was pre-baby. I am proud to say I have been very strict with my eating. Its SO HARD because I cook alot and like to experiment for my family. I fried them catfish and fries and cornbread one night this week and about died from the smell!! ALso was running late and no time to cook and had to stop at McDonalds for my kids a few times and the smell of the fries almost made me give in but I reminded my self these are the steps I need to take to achieve this goal. I did happen to find my size 5-6 pants and clothing in my garage and some of my pants are still new so my goal is to get down to those sizes from where I am now (a 10) and that way I wont have to do a ton of shopping for new clothes.
Just weighed in , I am on day 8 and have lost a total of 8 pounds! Im very excited and thank yoiu again for all of your help!

in response to bookworm2011...   Wahooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! That is so great! I'm so glad to hear it! I'm proud of you! Now, just beware that your rate of loss may slow a little after the first week, but do not be discouraged and do not give up! Most importantly, do NOT listen to people trying to discourage you! Remember, if you cheat, it not only will slow down your loss, but if the cheat is great enough, it will cause you to gain. Some cheats cause a several lb gain and take 3 days to get back to where you were.
Also, if you hit a plateau, where you have stayed the same weight for several days, ditch the shrimp, oranges, and tomatoes, since they have been known to hold people up.
You can totally do this!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep reporting back--please!
I love hearing about your success!

Comment on: I need money - free money to help pay bills

I'm only 22 yrs old when i was 18 i made a horrible choice to obtain a credit card i had used the card while i was suspended from work to help pay bills for car phone and weekly supplies that my check would have paid for. I was no where near knowledgeable of how credit cards worked i had not cancelled my card and it collected late payment charges along with interest now its $2400 and they are trying to seize my checks from work i live pay check to check and its still not nearly enough. I was also in the hospital that yr which i had not had insurance i owe them 1g as well. This past yr me and my bf were forced to move out of our apartment due to condemned building. we were than left with 5 days to remove all of our stuff or risk being arrested we had left a lot of our stuff there and were left with no where to live. I had to spend all my checks on hotels, food and gas. That resulted in my phone bill racking up to $950. I need help please someone pray for me.
